As a photographer it is an honor and joy to be able to capture my clients on their journey through life. Emily and Jon started off as a referral from a friend for an engagement session. Then, I did the bride and groom portraits after their small wedding. Recently Emily and Jon told me they were expecting and I convinced them to do a gender reveal session with me. I watch as they discovered they were having a baby girl and got to capture the pure joy they expressed as the found out. I cannot wait to do their birth photography, newborn, and every session as the little one grows. It is truly an amazing experience to capture this journey for them.
I love when clients aren’t afraid to be daring. Whether it be climbing in windows, ledges, or trains. Sometimes it works and other times its a fail, but it’s always worth a shot.
Being a photographer one of the greatest joys is being able to capture moments in time that people will be able to remember forever. When I went to this engagement shoot I assumed that the couple was already engaged as with all the other engagement shoots I have done. Once at the shoot I quickly learned that this was not the case, but that he had planned to do it before the shoot and was unable to. So I got to share this special moment from a distance while I snapped away at my camera. Thank you for letting me capture this special moment for you. Congratulations Mike and Jennifer!
